Lever stores candidate documents in two areas:

  1. Resumes
  2. Files

Lever considers 'resumes' as documents you would like to be visible to all interviewing parties. Resumes are accessible to all candidate followers and Interviewers who are included in a specific candidate's interview. This helps interviewers review any relevant information regarding the candidate's past experiences. You can store multiple documents as resumes which may be helpful for adding an updated resume or supplemental application documents like a cover letter or portfolio.

Lever consider 'files' as documents that may be hidden from select candidate followers. Users with Interviewer access may also view files only if a candidate profile does not include any attachments in the resume section. Files that are marked as 'secret' will only be visible to users with Admin or Super Admin level access, users with sensitive information privileges enabled for 'secret files', as well as the user who locked the file as 'secret'.

Resumes and files appear in the candidate's profile.

Resumes that are attached from candidate applications will automatically be stored in the resume section of the candidate profile. Both files and resumes can be added manually to a candidate profile. For more information refer to our help article on adding and deleting resumes.
