The Send to Onboarding workflow step connects Lever with Onboarding, allowing recruiters and hiring managers to seamlessly transition candidates into the onboarding process. Once a candidate reaches the hiring stage in Lever, they can be sent to onboarding with just a few clicks. From there, onboarding admins can create a placement, track progress, and manage required documentation all in one place.

Send to Onboarding from Lever
Navigate to the Candidates tab, then select the desired candidate that you would like to hire and onboard.
In the stage change dropdown, select HIRE/ONBOARD.
The option to hire with or without sending the candidate to Onboarding will appear.
Once you have hired the candidate, they will be sent to Onboarding. You can then access the new hire by navigating to the Onboarding tab in Lever.
The following information is required to successfully send a new hire to Onboarding:
- First Name of New hire
- Last Name of New hire
- Email ID of New hire
Undo Hire
Navigate to the Candidates tab.
Click Archive.
Click Hired.
After selecting the desired candidate, click Edit or the menu icon.
Click Undo Hire.
Click Undo Hire.
NOTE: This does not automate the termination or deletion of an Onboarding Placement.
