AI Form Builder in Onboarding

Available for Roles Onboarding Admin
Packages Lever and Lever for Enterprise. Requires Onboarding add-on

In Onboarding, you can upload a PDF and use the AI form builder to quickly create and customize onboarding forms.

Access AI Form Builder

Within Onboarding, navigate to the Forms drop-down and select Manage Forms.

Click New Form.

Select Start Building.

Drag and drop a PDF into the upload box.

A preview of the form pages will be displayed; click Continue.

The AI form builder page will be displayed.

On the left side of the AI form builder page, you can interact with the following:

  • Chat – You can chat with the onboarding AI to make changes to the form.
    • For example, you can ask the chat to write form instructions, translate the form into another language, or change a field.
  • Outline – This provides an overview of the form hierarchy.
  • Code – You can view and edit the form code. NOTE: Avoid adjusting the code unless you are familiar with coding/programming.

On the right side of the AI form builder page, you can interact with the following:

  • Theme - If you have multiple brands, you can change the theme for the form to align with your desired brand/company.
  • Language management (globe) icon – Allows you to add translations for new languages, as well as edit existing translations. NOTE: Languages you can add are limited by the supported languages in your organization's settings. Please see Form Languages in Onboarding for details.
  • Preview – Select this to preview the form.

Click Save. NOTE: Any form errors will need to be fixed before you can save.

Once you’re finished creating the form, click the back arrow.

The form will be in Draft status. To publish the form, click Publish version.

On the Are you sure? pop-up click Publish.

The form status will change to Published, and you will have the option to Deploy.

On the Are you sure? pop-up select the checkbox if you want to Upgrade all un-started tasks to use this latest version. When selected, existing tasks will be upgraded gradually in the background. Then click Deploy.

The form will be deployed and available in your Active Forms.
