Within Onboarding, you have the option to use E-Verify with I-9 forms. E-Verify requires an Agent, E-Verify Employer Agent Support | E-Verify. If you are using E-Verify today, you either have an agent, such as your HCM provider, or you are the agent yourself.

NOTE: Not all states require E-Verify. We recommend working with your legal department to determine if it's best practice to e-verify all new hires, even if the state doesn't require it.

Configure E-Verify Employer Agent

If you choose to use Onboarding to be your agent, you will need to work with your Employ implementations team or submit a Help Center ticket to request Employer Agent access.

Employ support or implementation teams will work with you to complete the required forms. Please see the Enrollment Checklist.

E-Verify will send you a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for signature. Sample Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Employers using an E-Verify Employer Agent.

Once you have received confirmation that your account is created, enter the E-Verify details in Onboarding.

Within Onboarding, select Settings, then click Account Settings.
