Enabling and using the JobVyne integration

The JobVyne integration captures open job positions on Lever and automatically sends job applications back to Lever. Employees can generate unique job links to post on their social media profiles. JobVyne is an automated social referral platform. It automates the entire employee referral process by:

  • Connecting to Lever to pull in up-to-date job openings
  • Allowing employees to connect their social media accounts and set automated posts to their network, displaying the most recent job openings
  • Pushing employee referrals directly to Lever so the talent acquisition team can work in the system of record
  • Tracking employee referrals, bonus amounts, and hire dates to accurately and automatically notify the HR team when a referral bonus should be paid out

Setting up the JobVyne integration

 

Access role must be Super Admin in Lever to set up the integration. You must be a team or organization with admin rights in JobVyne to install this integration.
  • In JobVyne, navigate to the 'Integration' section of your employer settings

  • Select Lever in the ATS Name form field
  • Click the Connect Lever button

  • On the modal, log in to Lever
  • Review the list of requested permissions; click Accept

  • Select the stage that employee referral candidates should initially be placed into when sent from JobVyne (most likely “New Lead”)

Configuring the JobVyne integration

Enable webhooks

  • In JobVyne, click the Show instructions button to get detailed instructions on how to enable webhooks or follow the instructions below

  • In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks
  • Make sure the following webhooks are toggled to the on (blue) position (if they are not already enabled)
    • Candidate stage change
    • Candidate archive state change
    • Candidate hired
    • Candidate deleted

  • Navigate back to your JobVyne settings page and select Yes to confirm that webhooks are enabled

  • Click the Save button

  • To test that the integration is working, click the Update Jobs button; if the integration is working, a success message will appear

Using the JobVyne integration

After connecting Lever with JobVyne, you do not need to take any further actions. Whenever a candidate applies through an employee’s referral link, the application will be pushed directly into your Lever account.

When candidates are pushed from JobVyne to Lever, their opportunity will have the following properties:

  • They will be placed into whichever stage is designated in your JobVyne settings (e.g. “New Lead”)
  • The source will be “Referred via JOBVYNE”
  • Their resume will be attached
  • They will have a “JOBVYNE” tag

Additionally, the employee who referred the candidate can add a review of the candidate. The review is pushed to Lever as a note on the candidate’s application.

Disabling the JobVyne integration

  1. In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
  2. Under the 'Authorized Apps' tab, locate the JobVyne app
  3. Click Revoke Access to disable the integration
