Setting up the Zinc integration

Step 1: Connect accounts

Paste this link in your browser: https://app.zincwork.com/setup/lever then sign into Lever & Zinc. You need to be a Lever Super Admin to approve the integration.

Step 2: Share signing token

Share your candidate stage change "Signature token" from the integrations > webhooks section of Lever. If you’d like to start checks at Hired, share the candidate Hired signing token.

Step 3: Add webhook

Zinc will reply with a webhook to add to Lever. Once this is added, click the "Verify connection" button on the webhook. Now the integration will be live and active.

Step 4: Trigger Zinc

After the webhook is switched on and showing green, Zinc will trigger when candidate's land at your chosen stage. The first check package you created will be sent unless relevant tags are added.

How the Zinc integration works

Let Zinc work
Zinc will contact your candidate via email and text, asking them to complete the background checks you have chosen. We send automated reminders to ensure that you get your checks in good time.

Track the progress
View the current status of the checks for each candidate in your ATS. We will notify you via email when an individual check has been completed.

View insights
View your candidate reports directly from your ATS. Enabling better hiring decisions without leaving your ATS or HRIS.

Disabling the Zinc integration

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
  2. Locate the Zinc app on the 'Authorized Apps' tab
  3. Click Revoke Access to disable the integration
