The ProvenBase integration helps talent acquisition teams automatically source and sync qualified candidates from ProvenBase to Lever.

Setting up the ProvenBase integration

Access role must be Super Admin in Lever to set up the integration. You must be a team or organization with admin rights in ProvenBase to install this integration. |
- In ProvenBase, navigate to your profile settings by hovering over your name on the upper right-hand side of the screen
- Click Profile & Password
- Scroll down to the Integrations section
- Click the Connect button next to Lever
- On the modal, log in to Lever
- On the following screen, review the list of requested permissions
- Click Accept
- Once accepted, you will be redirected back to ProvenBase; a success notification will briefly appear at the top of the screen confirming that the integration has been successfully authorized
Configuring the ProvenBase integration
Configuring auto sync settings on ProvenBase
After successfully authorizing the integration, you will be prompted to configure auto sync settings on ProvenBase. Enabling this setting will allow the integration to automatically sync full profiles to allow you to see if your Lever account contains duplicate candidates on the Sourcing Lab, Projects or Candidates Lake pages on ProvenBase.
To setup auto sync, select the number of days you would like the integration to check for duplicate profiles on Lever and click Yes. To disable auto sync settings, click No.
Configuring integration settings on ProvenBase
You can configure the following integration settings on ProvenBase:
- Default stage: Select the default Lever stage for exports
- Auto Full Profiles Sync: Enable this setting to see duplicate profiles in Sourcing Lab, Projects, and Candidate Lake pages (screenshots below)
- Change Integration Lever Admin: Lists the default user for the integration export to Lever

Using the ProvenBase integration
Exporting Candidates from ProvenBase to Lever
- In ProvenBase, go to the project and select an unlocked candidate
- Click Export
- Select the resume fields to be included on the export (e.g. Title, Name)
- Click Export
- Select Lever
- On the pop-up, configure the following export options:
- Job: Select from the list of jobs on Lever (not required)
- Stage: Select the stage you would like the candidates to export to on Lever (the default export stage will be auto-selected)
- Resume Format: Select the resume format (PDF is the default file format)
- Export Task's Name: Name the Export Task (required)
- Click the Export button
- If you are exporting candidates that are already present in Lever, you will be prompted with one of the following pop-ups:
Export to ATS: Prompt for partial duplicate export
Export to ATS: Prompt for all duplicate export
- Once you select the preferred option, a notification will appear, indicating that the export is in progress
- You can check the export status by clicking on the task manager icon
- Open a full task manager page by clicking Show All
Viewing the candidates exported to Lever
- In Lever, navigate to the Candidates dashboard via the platform header
- Navigate to the configured export stage (e.g. Reached Out)
- Use the Sources filter to filter for candidates with ProvenBase as their source
- Click on the exported candidates in the opportunity list to view their details
Disabling the ProvenBase integration
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations & API
- Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the ProvenBase app
- Click Revoke Access to disable the integration.
