Enabling and using the Lucca integration

The Lucca integration automatically syncs hired candidates from Lever to Lucca. Readers of this article will learn about the following:

Setting up the Lucca integration

 

Access role must be Super Admin in Lever to set up the integration. You must be a team or organization with admin rights in Lucca to install this integration.
  • In Lucca, navigate to the toothed wheel, then Client Center > Applications
    • If you do not have access to Applications, contact Lucca support to add this permission for you

  • Click Install an application
  • Search for "Lever"
  • Click "Lever"

  • The Installation Wizard will start. 
  • On the welcome page, click Next
  • On the installation page, enable 'Display on the application menu'
  • Click Install

  • You will then be redirected to the Lever connection authorization page
  • On the modal, log in to Lever

  • Review the list of requested permissions; click Accept

  • When you return to your Application space in Lucca, the Lever application will be present
  • Once the application is in place, for each employee hired, the collaborator will be automatically created in Lucca

Configuring the Lucca integration

Additional configuration

In Lucca, you may configure the following details via the interface/admin/account-and-billing-/applications section. 

  • The default role applied to new recruits
  • Their email template

Enabling the webhook

  • In Lever, go to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks
  • Scroll down to the 'Candidate Hired' webhook
  • Toggle the 'Candidate Hired' webhook to the on (blue) position if it is not already enabled

Using the Lucca integration

Once a candidate is hired in Lever, the following new employee information is automatically sent to Lucca:

  • Name
  • First name
  • Email
  • Legal entity of the employee
  • Employee's department
  • Contract start date
  • Employee manager
  • Collaborator's job title
  • Personal phone

Disabling the Lucca integration

  • In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
  • Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the Lucca app
  • Click Revoke Access to disable the integration
