Enabling and using the Vanta integration

The Vanta integration helps streamline the security and compliance audit process by automatically ingesting user account information. For more information refer to the Vanta website


Setting up the Vanta integration

 

You must be a team or organization with admin rights in Vanta to install this integration.

  • In Vanta, navigate to the the left-hand navigation panel and select Integrations.
  • Search for Lever in the 'Available' integrations tab.

  • Click Connect.
  • Click Add Connections.
  • Click Connect Lever.
  • On the modal, log in to Lever to continue the integration with Vanta with your Lever Admin account. 

 

  • On the permissions screen, review the list of requested permissions and click Accept to authorize the integration. 
    • Vanta only requires 'read-only' access. 

  • You will be redirected to Vanta.
  • On the screen, you will be notified that the integration has been connected successfully.
  • From here, click Configure scope to complete the scope configuration (see steps below). 

Configuring the Vanta integration

Once connected, mark appropriate items either in-scope, or out of scope.

  • Items marked in-scope should Include all items used in your production environment, especially those containing sensitive information or user data.
  • Individual items can be marked in or out by using the toggle.
  • Additionally, you can select 'Mark all in', or 'Mark all out'.

Disabling the Vanta integration

  1. In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API.
  2. Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the Vanta app.
  3. Click Revoke access to disable the integration.
