Witty is a browser extension that educates employees on bias and changes their real-life behavior, within hours. It integrates into all full text fields in Lever.co but also LinkedIn, Gmail and most other web based applications. It works in English and German (further languages to come soon). Setting up the Witty integration
Since Witty is a browser extension it can be installed with a few clicks. Start with a team of up to 3 people using the Freemium version.

How Witty can help your organization
Witty analyzes text and highlights non-inclusive language in real time. Detect bias, simple and fast. Witty provides in-context learning content about the bias behind language. Employees learn effortlessly about their own bias, integrated in their daily workflow. Learning mirrors back on them and they adapt an inclusive, real-life behavior.
Click on underlined words and Witty will suggest inclusive alternatives. With a single click, text becomes inclusive - fast. Make everyone feel included quickly and easily.
Analytics gives your organization insights not only into your team's writing but also into the unconscious biases that are most prevalent on your team. And once you know that, you can more easily tackle the challenge of Diversity and Inclusion.
Witty can be fully customized, from selecting what diversity dimensions you want to focus on to defining your own vocabulary to prevent internal phrases and acryonyms from creeping into job ads and onboarding documentation.
Disabling the Witty integration
- Click on the puzzle icon in your browser to view a list of all installed extensions.
- Scroll down until you see Witty and click on the three dots.
- Click Remove from Chrome ... and confirm that you want to uninstall it in the pop-up window.
- Make sure that you reload the current web page. Otherwise, Witty's mark will still be visible.
- It is also possible to simply disable Witty for the current web page.
