Enabling and using the We Create Problems (WeCP) integration

WeCP offers a seamless way to invite candidates from Lever to take assessments, streamlining your hiring process and gaining valuable insights into each candidate's abilities. This article provides step-by-step instructions to guide you through the invitation process. For the latest information on the We Create Problems (WeCP) integration refer to WeCP's help article on integrating Lever with WeCP.


Setting up the WeCP integration

 

You must be a team or organization with admin rights in We Create Problems (WeCP) to install this integration.
  • Log In to your WeCP account using your credentials
  • Navigate to the Settings option from the left-hand side menu bar

  • Within the Settings page, locate and click on the Integrations tab. Here, you'll find various integration options available.
  • Look for "Lever" in the list of integration options
  • Click Connect

  • On the following prompt, log into Lever
  • Review the list of requested permissions and click Accept to authorize and establish the connection between your WeCP and Lever accounts

  • After accepting the authorization request, you will be automatically redirected back to WeCP

You have successfully integrated Lever with WeCP. You will now see Lever marked as "Active" in the integration settings.

  • In Lever, go to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks
  • Locate the Candidate Stage Change webhook and toggle it to the on (blue) position if it is not already enabled

  • The integration adds a new webhook configuration specifically for tracking candidate movements between different stages of the hiring process

How to Link the WeCP Test to the Lever Job Posting

  • Navigate to the Desired Test: Log in to the WeCP platform and navigate to the test you want the candidates to take for a specific job posting.

  • Click Link job posting from Lever: Once you've found the test, click on the Link job posting from Lever button to proceed. 

  • Select Job Posting and Stage: Here, you can choose the relevant Job posting from Lever and Stage on which the candidate needs to take the test. This ensures that the candidate receives the appropriate test based on the current hiring stage and role they applied for. 

 

A single assessment can be attached to multiple job postings but cannot be attached to multiple stages of the same job posting.

  • Update Posting: Once you've made the necessary selections, click Link to finalize. The system will automatically process the request and ensure the new candidates in the posting will get a notification to take the assessment when moved to the configured stage.

How to Invite a Candidate from Lever to Take the Test on WeCP

  • Inviting Candidates to Take the Test: Once you have selected the relevant Job posting and Stage for the candidate to take the test, move the candidate to the chosen trigger stage in Lever. This action will automatically notify WeCP to grant access to the candidate for taking the assessment.

  • Automated Email Invitation: The candidate will receive an automated email invitation at the email address listed on their Lever profile. This email will provide clear instructions on how to access and complete the test on WeCP.

How to View the Test Results

  • Score Recording: After the candidate completes the test, their scores will be securely saved as a note on the Lever opportunity. This allows for easy access to the candidate's test results and simplifies the evaluation process.

  • Accessing the Report: For a comprehensive view of the candidate's performance, you can access the complete report on WeCP. Simply click on the link next to "View a detailed report on WeCP" provided on the opportunity note.

Please Note:

  • All the actions performed on WeCP will be done on behave of the owner of the respective job posting. 
  • Candidates in a job posting, before the tag is attached won't be affected. 

Disabling the WeCP integration

  1. In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
  2. Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the We Create Problems (WeCP) app
  3. Click Revoke access to disable the integration
