Enabling and using the Cake integration

The Cake integration with Lever allows users to seamlessly cross-publish job postings from their Lever account to Cake with a single click. Job postings will be visible on Cake's job board and the corresponding company’s job page on Cake. Additionally, as jobs are synchronized daily, any modifications made to the job postings on Lever will be automatically reflected in the corresponding listings on Cake, ensuring real-time updates and consistency in information. Below is a brief introduction on how to activate the Lever integration and sync your job postings. For more information refer to the Cake website.

Setting up the Cake integration

You must be a team or organization with admin rights in Cake to install this integration. Only the Cake company page's Owner and Admin can activate this integration.

In Cake, navigate to Company page > Settings
You will see a section for the Lever Integration. To enable this integration, click Contact Our Consultant and book an online meeting with Cake's BD members.
You will be able to move forward with the activation process once a Cake BD member has turned on the integration for you in Cake

Once the Lever integration has been activated in Cake, complete the following:

Scroll down to the Job boards section
Click the Job posting feed tile to expand
Click the Generate Job Feed button if the job posting feed has not already been shared
Copy the link that appears in the Manual Setup field to a secure place. This is your company's Lever XML job posting feed.
Enable the Job posting feed if it is not already turned on

The syntax of the code will always be: https://api.lever.co/v0/postings/{{**accountname**}}?mode=xml

For example, the code for a company with the name "Cake" would be: https://api.lever.co/v0/postings/cake?mode=xml

Paste the code to the Cake job board which you want your company's job postings to be directed.
Job postings will appear on most job boards within 24 hours.

Please note that only the Company page's Owner and Admin can activate this integration

Disabling the Cake integration

You can pause the syncing of the Lever Integration in Cake under Company page > Settings.
To re-activate, simply click Activate again.

Please note that Cake will automatically map for the same Lever job postings you've created prior to reactivating. These same job posting(s) will not be re-created and re-posted.
