From the My account page in your Settings, you can tailor your Lever account and ensure that you are being notified of all relevant activity in your organization's Lever environment. Note that this article reflects personal account settings for users with Super Admin, Admin, Team Member, and Limited Team Member access. Users with Interviewer level access can only update certain email notification settings as well as their account avatar image.
Configuring personal account permissions
To configure personal account settings, click your avatar in the top-right corner of the platform header and select Settings from the menu. Personal account permissions pertain to Lever's ability to integrate with your organization's technology suite (e.g. Google, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange). Use the checkboxes to sync:
Contacts
When this permission is enabled, you can share candidates in Lever with anyone at your organization.
Calendar
When this permission is enabled, you can receive calendar notifications and schedule interview events to your work calendar.
Email
When this permission is enabled, you can sync email messages sent to candidates from your email address to the their profile in Lever. Note, if 'Limited email sync' is enabled in your Lever environment, enabling this account-level permission will only allow you to send emails from Lever via your email address (i.e. email sent to your work email inbox cannot be synced to candidates' profiles).

Configuring email notification and 'send for' settings
Use the checkboxes under the 'Email notifications' heading to configure which types of activity you get notified about. For more detail on the specific notifications you can configure, refer to our help article on email notifications.
Beneath the email notification checklist, you can also configure a 'Send For' permission, which will allow you to send emails to candidates on behalf of another user in your Lever environment. To learn about this feature, refer to our help article on 'Send For' permissions.
Managing followed job postings
From your personal account settings, you can also manage the postings that you follow. Typically, followers are added to the posting itself. Under the 'Following' header in your personal account settings, you will find a summary of all postings that you are following. You can remove yourself as a follower from a posting by clicking the 'X' on the posting tag. To follow more postings, click Add job postings to follow and select a posting from the menu.
Updating your account avatar image
Under the 'Avatar' heading on the personal account settings page, check the box next to 'Use gravatar image' and then click the Gravatar link to be redirected to www.gravatar.com.
On the Gravatar homepage, click Sign In in the upper-right corner.
From here, the steps to follow will differ depending on if you already have a Gravatar account:
I already have a Gravatar acount...
- Log in to Gravatar with your existing credentials
- Navigate to My Gravatars
- Under your profile, click Add email address
- Input the email address associated with your Lever account
- You will receive an email from Gravatar containing a link to authenticate the newly added email address. Once you complete authentication, the new email address will appear in your Gravatar profile list.
- Select the new email address in the profile list and then choose a new image by either picking an image you have already uploaded to Gravatar, or uploading a new image from your computer. Click the Next button to proceed.
- Crop and set a rating for the image.
- Within 24 hours, your Gravatar image will sync over to your Lever account.
I do not have a Gravatar account...
- Create a new Gravatar account using the email address associated with your Lever account
- You will receive an email from Gravatar containing a link to authenticate the newly added email address. Once you complete authentication, refresh the Gravatar page. The new email address will appear in your Gravatar profile list in the My Gravatars section.
- Upload an image for your avatar by clicking Add one by clicking here! > Upload new> Choose file and selecting an image from your computer. Click the Next button to proceed.
- Crop and set a rating for the image.
- Within 24 hours, your Gravatar image will sync over to your Lever account.
