The Benchmarket integration analyzes Lever data to deliver clear reporting, benchmarking, and AI insights across every job and recruiter. Benchmarket shows what’s working, what needs improvement, and automatically keeps stakeholders updated — no reporting required. For more information refer to the Benchmarket website.

Setting up the Benchmarket integration
| You must be a team or organization with admin rights in Benchmarket to install this integration. |
Configure API Key
- Open Benchmarket at https://app.benchmarket.ai/connect
- Sign in or create an account (SSO recommended)
- Select Lever from the ATS list
- In Lever, navigate to Settings → Integrations and API → API Credentials
- Click Generate New Key, name it "Benchmarket", and enable the following read-only permissions (see attached for screenshot):

- Copy the Lever API key and paste it into Benchmarket when prompted.
- In Lever, click the Done button, followed by the Got It button on the confirmation pop-up
- Your data will begin syncing automatically. Benchmarket never sends sensitive data to AI systems.

Once connected, users log into app.benchmarket.ai to access Benchmarket. Please note Benchmark key pages below:

See how hiring performance compares to your historical data and industry benchmarks.
Recommendations
- Aggregates AI insights from every job and recruiter into one place.
- Prioritizes what needs attention, why, and the recommended fix.
Jobs
- Shows open jobs, job health, funnel conversion, activity volume, estimated time to fill, and days open.
- Click into any job for deep pipeline analysis and specific, actionable AI suggestions.
Recruiters
- View activity, workload, output, and progress to goals.
- Click into a recruiter to see performance insights and coaching recommendations.
Metrics
- Explore any metric with filters (role, recruiter, stage, department, or source).
- Expand a metric for a written AI breakdown of what changed, why, and what to do.
Custom Reports
Drag, drop, and resize tiles to build any report in seconds — no spreadsheets or BI tools required.
Auto-Updates; No more manual reporting!
- From any page, schedule automated email updates to hiring managers, executives, or anyone you choose.
- Benchmarket sends updates with AI-written summaries — eliminating manual reporting.
Chatbot
- Click Ask AI on any page to ask questions or summarize the data in view.
- Ask questions like:

The integration does not create any visible changes inside Lever.
Benchmarket does not:
- Post updates or notes in Lever
- Update or create candidate records in Lever
- Add tags, fields, interview kits, feedback, or scorecards in Lever
All insights and reporting live inside Benchmarket, not Lever.
Data Privacy
Benchmarket is designed to provide operational insights without handling identifiable candidate data.
- Benchmarket does not read, process, or store PPI (names, emails, phone numbers, demographic attributes, compensation, background checks, etc.)
- Benchmarket does not read, process, or store EEOC or diversity data
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Benchmarket never sends candidate-level data to AI
All AI analysis by Benchmarket uses aggregated, de-identified hiring performance metrics only
Disabling the Benchmarket integration
- In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
- Under the API Credentials tab, locate the Benchmarket API key
- Click the trash can to remove the integration
