The Hypersift integration allows teams to automate their candidates' first round of interviews so they can focus on engaging with vetted talent. For more information, refer to the Hypersift website.
Setting up the Hypersift integration

To install this integration, you must be a team or organization with admin rights in Hypersift. |
- Log in to your Hypersift Admin account.
- Navigate to the Settings page.
- Click Add Integration.
- Choose Lever.
- Click Connect.
- On the prompt, sign in to your Lever Admin account to connect both platforms.

Review the list of requested permissions and click Accept to authorize the integration
- Hypersift will need access to webhooks, stages, tags, feedback templates, opportunities, notes, and feedback to create interviews, send invites, and update their status on Lever.
The connection is now active!
Configuring the Hypersift integration
Enable Webhooks
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks
- Toggle the Candidate Stage Change webhook to the on position if it is not already enabled.

Apply Job Tags
- In Hypersift, click get job tag and search for the interview agent you would like to use.
- Copy the job tag.
- In Lever, open the job posting.
- Click Add Tags.
- Paste the Hypersift tag to the associated job in Lever.
Configure Trigger Stage
- In Hypersift, select the trigger stage to configure when the candidate gets the Hypersift interview invite.
- For example, you can send an interview invite automatically when a candidate applies or only when you move them to the AI interview stage.
Using the Hypersift integration
Invite Candidates to the Hypersift Interview
- Select a candidate opportunity in Lever.
- Move the opportunity to the designated trigger stage.
- The candidate will receive an email invite based on the trigger stage selected. The status will be shown as a tag for the candidate (e.g., "Hypersift Invite Sent").
Similarly, you can track the candidate’s interview status to determine whether the candidate has started or completed the interview.
Once the interview is complete, results are added to the Lever opportunity as a feedback form. You can click the summary link to access the results and video recording within Hypersift.
In addition, the integration adds a results tags to the candidate opportunity in Lever to help identify candidates based on scores. The score bands are:
- Below 50
- 50 to 75
- Above 75

Disabling the Hypersift integration
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API.
- Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the Hypersift app.
- Click Revoke access to disable the integration.
