Refer.io specializes in enhancing candidate engagement for companies by creating and distributing dynamic job alert newsletters to Refer.io's extensive network of over 6.5+ million candidates. The Refer.io integration helps customers sync their Lever job postings to Refer.io, and candidate applications are automatically synced to Lever. For more information refer to the Refer.io website.
Setting up the Refer.io integration

You must be a team or organization with admin rights in Refer.io to install this integration. |
- To gain access to Refer.io, reach out to support@refer.io and request access to the Refer.io Lever Integration.
- Refer.io will complete the necessary setup on the Refer.io platform and respond (via email) with an access link.
Authorize Refer.io
- Click the authorization link provided by Refer.io.
- On the modal, log in to Lever using your Admin account.
- On the prompt, review the list of requested permissions and click Accept to authorize the integration.
- You’ll be taken to a thank you page on Refer.io.
- Click the button, Click here to return to Lever, to get redirected back to your Lever account.
Configuring the Refer.io integration
After authorizing the integration, the integration will automatically pull your current jobs in Lever and send them out to subscribers whose Refer.io alert settings match the job.
For better engagement, make sure your job listings have all the necessary information, including:
- Title
- Description
- Location
- Salary

Using the Refer.io integration
The Refer.io will automatically sync new applications to Lever. New applicants are added to Lever with a source of "Refer.io".

Disabling the Refer.io integration
- In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API.
- Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the Refer.io app.
- Click Revoke access to disable the integration.
