Enabling and using the Embloy integration

The Embloy integration with Lever allows applicants to apply to job postings using their Embloy account. For an applicant, applying with Embloy is the same as buying something online with PayPal: you create an account once and then always use it to pay (or in our case - to apply). With Embloy, an applicant doesn't have to re-enter the same personal information on every application, or create accounts that only work for one company. For more information refer to the Embloy website


Setting up the Embloy integration

 

You must be a team or organization with admin rights in Embloy to install this integration.

For the latest setup guidance, please refer to the Embloy documentation and up-to-date Lever setup guide.

To enable the Embloy integration: 

  • In Embloy, navigate to the Recruiters Dashboard.
  • Go to Settings > Integrations.
  • Select Lever and switch the toggle to activate the integration. You will be automatically redirected to Lever's sign in page.

  • On the modal, sign in to your Lever Admin account. 
  • On the prompt, review the list of requested permissions, then click Accept to authorize the integration. 

Configuring the Embloy integration

Enable Webhooks in Lever

  • In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks.
  • To synchronize the application stage of a candidate, please enable the following webhooks:
    • Candidate stage change
    • Candidate archive state change
    • Candidate hired
    • Interview created
    • Interview updated
    • Interview deleted

 

If the webhooks don’t appear on the Webhooks tab in Lever, or you accidentally deleted/changed one, you can reset the webhooks manually by clicking the 'Reset Webhooks' icon in the Integrations tab of Embloy’s Recruiter Dashboard.

 

The integration will automatically fetch your jobs every 12 hours. 

Whenever you create or edit a posting, and you don’t want to wait for it to re-synchronize automatically, you can manually trigger the sync by clicking Refresh postings in the Integrations tab of Embloy’s Recruiter Dashboard.

Using the Embloy integration

  • In Lever, navigate to SettingsJob Site > Posting Templates.

  • Save the template and use it in your job postings. For more information on posting templates, please refer to our help article on creating and using job posting templates
  • Users should now be able to apply to your postings using their Embloy account by clicking the apply.embloy.com/lever on your job posting. 
  • Now that you have connected Lever, applications submitted through Embloy will automatically be sent to Lever. A source tag of 'Embloy' will be added to the applications. 

If needed, you may also log into the Embloy recruiter portal to screen the applications and respond to the candidates directly. However, if you are using Embloy as an integration and not as a standalone tool, we recommend managing your applications directly in Lever. 

Disabling the Embloy integration

In Embloy

  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab of Embloy’s Recruiter Dashboard.
  2. Select Lever from the list of integrations and click Disconnect.

In Lever

  1. In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API.
  2. Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the Embloy app.
  3. Click Revoke access to disable the integration.
