Enabling and using the Joveo integration

The Joveo integration integrates Joveo’s Engage CRM with Lever to unify and sync jobs, applicants, candidates and their engagement. All details from Lever, such as new jobs created, updates on a job, applicants and their status updates etc. — will be in sync with Joveo's Engage CRM, providing the flexibility for enterprise customers to customize workflows in a unique way suited to their needs. Setting up the Joveo integration


You must be a team or organization with admin rights in Joveo to install this integration.

Contact the Joveo ATS Integrations Support Team at support-ats-integrations@joveo.com. The Joveo team will set up the client for ATS integrations in the Joveo system and send an authorization email where you can Authorize Joveo with your Lever Account.

  • On the Authorization email, click the Authorize Joveo with your Lever Account button.
  • On the modal, log in to Lever.

  • Review the list of requested permissions and click Accept to authorize the integration

  • Once you accept and authorize Joveo, you will receive an email with an option to revoke the authorization, whenever you need to.

Using the Joveo integration

Once the integration has been authorized, you will be ready to sync data from Lever to Joveo Engage CRM.

Sync Jobs & Applicants 

View all relevant jobs on Joveo Engage CRM with the necessary fields. The integration supports the following: 

  • View, search and filter jobs from Lever in Joveo Engage CRM with the necessary fields and filters.
  • Newly created jobs and updates on any of the above fields of a job will be reflected in Joveo Engage CRM within 5 min (Depending on the requirement this can be modified).

Sync Candidates

View applicants of a job from Lever in Joveo Engage CRM. The integration supports the following:

  • In Joveo Engage CRM, a candidate is a profile in the system and an association between a candidate and a job is an applicant
  • Historical applicants:
    • Historical application records in Lever would be synced as Applicants in Joveo Engage CRM
    • Users can see the resume, current status, status updated time and other fields for applicants under a job. 
  • New applicants:
    • New applications will be reflected within 5 min (Depending on the requirement this can be modified) in Joveo Engage CRM
    • If a candidate is already existing, a new application association would be made. Else, a candidate record would also be simultaneously created.
  • Updates on any of the above mentioned applicant fields would be synced within 5 min (Depending on the requirement this can be modified) in Joveo Engage CRM, under fair usage policy
  • For a given job, users can search and filter applicants based on their application statuses, and other fields as listed above

Disabling the Joveo integration

Using the Joveo Authorization Email

  1. Open the Joveo Authorization Email received after the initial authorization
  2. Click Revoke Access

In Lever

  1. In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
  2. Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the Joveo app
  3. Click Revoke access to disable the integration
