The HireQuotient integration allows talent acquisition teams to seamlessly send assessments to candidates and view the results from within Lever.

Readers of this article will learn the following:

Setting up the HireQuotient integration

Access role must be Super Admin in Lever to set up the integration. You must be a team or organization with an Enterprise account in HireQuotient to install this integration.
  • Contact the HireQuotient support team to request to enable the integration with Lever.
  • In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks
  • Scroll down to the 'Candidate Stage Change' webhook
  • If the webhook is not already enabled, toggle the webhook to the on (blue) position to enable

The HireQuotient team will send you an encrypted link via an email to authorize your Lever Credentials and select the trigger stage of your choice (see screenshot below).

  • The trigger stage is a stage in your Lever pipeline which will be used to send the HireQuotient Test to a candidate
  • To configure a custom trigger stage, create a new custom stage on Lever and select the custom stage when accessing the encrypted HireQuotient link. To learn how to do this, refer to our help article on adding pipeline stages.

Using the HireQuotient integration

Sending a HireQuotient test to a candidate

1. Adding a test to a Lever job posting (using tags)

The default assessment and its security settings is configurable for each job using job tags.

When new opportunities/candidates are added to a job, the opportunity will inherit the same tags in the job. These tags can also be directly added and used in an opportunity. You can find the list of mandatory tags below.

Mandatory input tags

  • "HireQuotient Test - {Assessment Id}" : The customer may log in to HireQuotient to retrieve the assessment ID. This helps HireQuotient understand which assessment is to be triggered. E.g. "HireQuotient Test - 63c952b0f27e5a6ce6f9455e"

In the given image, you can see an example of the HireQuotient tags added to a job.

2. Sending a test to a candidate

Once the opportunity/candidate is added to the job posting and moved to the trigger stage, an assessment is sent to the candidate with the configured settings as indicated through the tags described above.

3. Monitoring test progress

At each stage of the candidate's test journey, tags are added and updated on the candidate's opportunity on Lever. Refer to the list of status tags below:

  • "HireQuotient Test - Sent": HireQuotient has sent the test to the candidate.

  • "HireQuotient Test - Completed": The candidate has completed the test.

  • HireQuotient Test Report (Report link)
