Enabling and using the Test Partnership integration

The Test Partnership integration helps talent acquisition teams seamlessly invite candidates to take Test Partnership assessments. Results are automatically updated on the candidate opportunity as a note, which includes the assessment score and a link to the pdf report. For more information refer to the Test Partnership website


Setting up the Test Partnership integration

 

You must be a team or organization with admin rights in Test Partnership to install this integration.

Add an assessment stage in Lever

  • In Lever, navigate to Settings > Pipeline and archive reasons > Pipeline Stages
  • Click CUSTOMIZE PIPELINE STAGES
  • Click ADD STAGE
  • Assign a name to the assessment stage
  • Click ADD STAGE

  • Click NEXT at the top of the screen

  • Click NEXT
  • Click NEXT again
  • On the Review changes screen, click SAVE to save changes to your Lever pipeline stages. 

  • On the Pipeline and archive Stages > Pipeline stages screen, locate the new pipeline stage you’ve just created and click REVEAL STAGE ID.

  • Copy this Stage ID key. You will be using this key to configure the stage within the Test Partnership platform.

Enable the Lever Integration in Test Partnership

  • Log in to your Test Partnership account and navigate to Account > My Account

  • Click the Integrations tab

  • On the Lever integrations tile, click Activate
  • Copy the Webhook URL link to a safe place (you will need this to configure the webhook in Lever). 

  • Paste your assessment stage ID (copied from Lever on a previous step) into the Lever Stage Id field
  • Click Register

Grant Test Partnership access to your Lever account

  • After clicking Register, a modal will appear requesting for you to log in to your Lever account.
  • Log in to your Lever account using your admin credentials.
  • Review the list of requested permissions and click Accept to authorize the integration. 

Configuring the Test Partnership integration

Configure the Webhook in Lever

  • In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > WEBHOOKS
  • Locate the CANDIDATE STAGE CHANGE webhook and click "+ Add webhook" to add a new webhook. 
  • Paste the Webhook URL copied from the Test Partnership Lever integration tile to the webhook URL field (previous step)

Link the Test Partnership Project with Lever

In this step you will configure the Test Partnership project you would like to invite candidates to.

If you have not already created a Test Partnership project, make one now. Projects are where you select the assessments each candidate will take. Once you have at least one Test Partnership project you can continue.

  • In Test Partnership, navigate to Projects > View All

  • Select the project you would like to connect with Lever
  • Click View

  • Scroll down to find the Project Code
  • Copy the Project Code

Add the Project Code as a tag to the Job in Lever

  • In Lever, navigate to the Jobs dashboard
  • Click on a Job you would like to apply the Test Partnership project to

  • Click Add tag

  • Paste the Project Code copied from the Test Partnership project
  • Click Create new tag (if prompted)

 

  • Click SAVE CHANGES

You have now linked your Test Partnership project with your Lever Job!

Using the Test Partnership integration

Inviting candidates to take the Test Partnership assessment

Move a candidate to the designated Assessment stage in Lever to automatically invite them to your Test Partnership project.

When the candidate completes all the assessments in the project, their scores will be automatically posted as a note on the Lever opportunity.

Viewing assessment results in Lever

To view a candidate's assessment results, open the candidate's opportunity in Lever and review the Notes section.

The note will include the following information:

  • Project Name
  • Average score candidate achieved across all assessments in the project
  • Assessment Name
  • Score the candidate achieved for each assessment
  • A link to download full report

Disabling the Test Partnership integration

  1. In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
  2. Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the Test Partnership app
  3. Click Revoke access to disable the integration
