The Cezanne HR integration enables a successful candidate's record to be automatically created within the main Cezanne system and a New Starter Process task to be generated.
Overview
The Cezanne HR integration creates the following in Cezanne:
- A Person record in Cezanne with basic Personal Information and Contact Details.
- The Person's Employment Details record, based on the Company Code specified in the Integration configuration.
- A New starter process task for a specified HR Professional (New Hire Administrator) for each successful candidate.
Setting up the Cezanne HR integration

You must be a team or organization with admin rights in Cezanne HR to install this integration. |
Enable the webhook
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks
- Locate the 'Candidate Hired' webhook and toggle the webhook to the on (blue) position to enable
- Select Add Webhook
- Enter the following Webhook URL, making sure to replace [YOUR_SUBDOMAIN] with your Company Name, e.g. CezanneHR:
- w3.cezanneondemand.com/cezannehr/api/v4/Lever/webhook/[YOUR_SUBDOMAIN]
- Highlight and copy the signature token to a secure place; you will use this to configure the integration.
Configuring the Cezanne HR integration
Important:
- This integration only works if an 'Enter a New Starter' or 'Enter a New Starter (Without Absences)' Process is active in Cezanne HR. For more information about how to set up these processes, see New Starter Process.
- The latest 'Enter a New Starter (with Absences)' Process created will be used first by the integration. If one cannot be found the latest 'Enter a New Starter (without Absences)' Process created will be used instead.
- Navigate to Administration > Setup & Security > Integrations > Lever
Lever details
The 'Details' page configures the integration to Lever and some of the details for a successful candidate's New Starter Process.
- Click Add New

Subdomain: Enter your company's Subdomain that you entered in the Webhook URL in Lever
- E.g. CezanneHR
- Signature Token: Enter the webhook Signature Token that you generated in Lever
- New Hire Administrator: Search for a HR Professional User to be the person responsible for the New Starter Process; they will be sent the tasks to complete a successful candidate's New Starter Process
- New Hire Default Company: Search for the Company Code the successful candidate will be hired into
- Click Save
- The New Hire Administrator field will have to be manually updated in Cezanne if the user leaves the company or their username changes
- Only one default company can be entered, however a successful candidate's company can be changed in the New Starter Process by the New Hire Administrator
- After clicking Save, a redirect will pop up; click OK to authorise the Lever integration
Authorize the integration
- Log in to your Lever account
- Review the list of requested permissions; click Accept
You will then be able to add candidates through Lever. If/when their status updates to 'Hired' in Lever, the successful candidates details will be pulled through onto Cezanne. For more information, see the Fields Sent to Cezanne section below.
Lever log
The 'Log' tab in Cezanne displays any information or errors that have occurred after hiring a successful candidate in Lever.
- An Information message shows which person the integration has successfully started a New Hire Process for.
- An Error message shows that a person's employment records have not been successfully created in the system and displays why. For more information about errors see the Troubleshooting section below.

Troubleshooting

Issue: New Starter Process task has not been created
The New Stater Process will not be created if the user account in Cezanne that has allowed access for the Lever integration has been deleted.
Solution: Check the New Starter Administration Account is still active in Cezanne
Once the problem is solved, you will need to kick off the New Starter Process:
- Navigate to Lever
- Move the candidate to a different stage
- Then move the candidate back to 'Hired' again to kick off the process again.
Issue: Employment Details have not been created
Employment Details will not be created if...
- The company is now inactive or has been deleted
- Solution: Add the Employee details in the process - To prevent this happening for any other successful candidates, change the Default Company in the Integration screen to one that is active.
- The company code has been changed
- Solution: Add the Employee details in the process - Manually update the Company Code to the current code in the Integration screen.
Disabling the Cezanne HR integration
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > Authorized Apps
- Locate the Cezanne HR app
- Click Revoke Access
