Boostie integrates directly with Lever to sync jobs and applicants in the Boostie talent marketing platform. Your open roles in Lever are automatically pulled into Boostie for use in job advertisements on display and Google search networks. With our new Boostie Apply product, automating and managing pre-screening questions has never been easier. When applicants apply through a Boostie landing page or on your website using Boostie Apply, they are automatically attached to the job record in Lever along with a note containing any pre-screening questions and files. Lastly, we now have Boostie Capture, an active job alerts tool that helps companies create active talent pools from existing career site traffic. This creates a simple way for companies to market their open roles at the top of the funnel and also convert more site visitors using an elegant application process. For more information refer to the Boostie website.

Using the Boostie integration
How to use Boostie Promote
Once authorized, your open jobs in Lever will automatically sync over to the Boostie platform. Let’s walk through boosting a Lever job and managing questions directly in Boostie.
- To boost a job on our display network and Google search, navigate to the ‘Promote’ navigation link in the left sidebar and select the ‘Add New Campaign’ button.
- Select ‘Single Job’ or ‘Multiple Jobs’ from the campaign type. Note, a Single Job campaign will pull in location and job title information directly from the Lever job record. Multiple Job campaigns are great for boosting jobs with similar audiences or locations and need a little more information like a generic title ex: ‘healthcare jobs’ or ‘denver jobs’. You’ll also need to provide a starting city and state (this can be edited later)
- Once you create a campaign, Boostie will pull all relevant information from your job posting including pay information, skills, benefits and other pertinent information. You can edit this information at any time. We’ll take a look at the next screens.
- Next, we move onto the campaign verification. Boostie automatically pulls information from the Lever job record, so all you need to do is verify the following:
Time period and budget you want the Boostie campaign to run - click ‘Save & Next’ to advance
We recommend a $250 dollar minimum budget per 2 week period. This ensures optimized delivery across our display ad network.
The location targeting
- Auto-generated display ad creative. Boostie automatically generates ad creative using information from the Lever job description. You can also upload your own creative or edit the auto-generated versions.
Auto-generated Google Search ads. Boostie automatically creates ads for Google search for job seeking intent focused keywords.
Auto-generated landing page. Boostie automatically creates a focused landing page for each job campaign you run. You can edit any information created by Boostie by clicking the Edit Landing Page button. Boostie uses AI to optimize the job description and pull out pertinent information for job seekers.
- Lastly, you can Boost your campaign.
The campaign will be ‘Pending’ while we check the ad for accuracy and content.
Once we verify a campaign, it will switch to ‘Active’ and matching audiences will be delivered ads across the web.
Once a candidate applies on a Boostie landing page, they will flow back into Lever with the source of ‘Boostie’ and follow your normal business processes in Lever.
The basic information we collect on a job application is:
- first name
- last name
- email address
Below we outline our product, Boostie Apply, and how you can customize and automate asking pre-screening questions on ad campaigns and jobs on your website.
Boostie Apply
With Boostie Apply, our users can easily create and manage job application questions in Boostie and use our automation engine to ask specific questions based on categories, job titles or locations. Our application process follows a simple, e-commerce like flow to reduce application falloff and create a better experience for both the applicant and the admin.
Navigate to ‘Jobs’ in the Boostie sidebar
In the ‘Apply Form’ tab, you’ll see personal information and questions currently being asked for a specific job. Note: the same questions will be applied when using a Boostie landing page for an Ad Campaign or for the job record on your website.
For Personal Info, select the contact information required along with any required files. Note: during our beta period we are limiting Contact Information fields and Files to better understand how our customers want to capture personal applicant information.
In the Questions section, you’ll have the ability to add a question from scratch or from your question bank found in the Library in the left Boostie navigation menu.
Boostie currently has 5 question types with more on the way. Currently you can use:
- yes/no
- single line text
- single choice
- date
- statement
These questions can also be disqualification questions. For example, if an applicant isn’t permitted to work in your location or doesn’t align with specific job requirements like availability or location.
- You can also view all applicants and jump directly to their record in Lever. Along with application information, we include a note with their question answers in Boostie and Lever.
- You can also set Job Rules found on the main Jobs screen. Job Rules make it easy to automatically apply specific questions when they match a category or categories or specific job titles. This reduces repetitive work for all new jobs.
Boostie Capture
With Boostie Capture, Lever users can turn their passive career site traffic into active talent pools. Using intent driven popups, Boostie Capture asks for minimal information to convert would-be candidates into future applicants. Our AI matching and messaging then finds existing and new roles that are the best fit for captured applicants and for existing candidates that are already in Lever. It’s a new take on job alerts and rediscovering existing ATS candidates and is a no-code way to turn your career site into a marketing machine.
Navigate to ‘Capture’ in the Boostie application sidebar
In the first tab you’ll see ‘Recent Subscribers’. These are people that signed up for job alerts by filling in their information into the pop-up form (shown below) or the opted in for job alerts while applying to a job via Boostie Apply.
- In the second tab ‘Capture Settings’ you can adjust the settings that control when a pop-up will fire and what information you want to make available to potential applicants.
- Click ‘Edit Capture Settings’ to change:
- Category display text
- allow/disallow remote job signup
- Alter how the pop-up form will be triggered
- Alter where the form will/will not be displayed
Disabling the Boostie integration
- In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
- Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the Boostie app
- Click Revoke access to disable the integration
