  • On the modal, select Lever from the list of ATS integrations.
  • On the Link Lever Connect screen, click Connect.

  • You will then be redirected to Lever. Log in using your Lever admin credentials.

  • Review the list of requested permissions and click Accept to authorize the integration.

  • You will be redirected back to Popp AI
  • Lever is now connected to your Popp AI account

Configuring the Popp AI integration

Configure the Pipeline stage and archive reason in Lever

As part of the initial enablement, you may elect to add a new stage or archive reason to your Lever account. For guidance on customizing your pipeline and archive reasons in Lever, please refer to the following resources:

Configuring the candidate analysis in Popp AI

After you’ve connected Lever to Popp AI, you can start automating candidate analyses:

  • In Popp, click Analyse on the horizontal toolbar at the top.
  • Click Create new analysis

  • Select the role that you want to create a new analysis automation for by checking the box next to it
  • Click Next

  • Wait up to 30 seconds for Popp to extract the requirements from the job description
  • Review the role requirements
  • Click Edit to edit the role requirements
    • Check the box next to Mandatory requirement if the requirement is a must-have requirement. Candidates who meet mandatory requirements will be separated from those who do not in the Analysis output.
  • Click Save changes to save the modifications

  • Configure the weight applied to each of the scoring categories.
    • Slide the slider to the right if you would like that category to be considered more in the overall score, or to the left if you would like that category to be considered less in the overall score.
  • Once you are happy, click Next.

  • Click Confirm to confirm the creation of this automation

Using the Popp AI integration

Once the analysis automation is confirmed, Popp will immediately begin to analyse existing applicants, which will take a few minutes.

The Analyze dashboard will update in real-time. Popp AI will automatically analyze any new applicants to this role going forward. In the example below, note that none of the requirements were mapped to the ‘Qualifications’ category, and therefore, were not considered in the scoring.

  • Click on a candidate’s name to view a detailed scoring report alongside the candidate’s resume.

  • Click on Requirements to review which requirements were and were not met.

  • To reject a candidate from Popp, select the candidate(s) from the Analysis dashboard and click Reject.

  • A modal will appear prompting you to select a reason for rejection. The rejection reasons will be pulled from your Lever ATS.
  • Click Reject to reject the candidate(s).

  • To review rejected candidates in Lever, identify the job that the analysis is connected to.
    • In the following example, it is Marketing Manager (April 2024).
  • Click archived to view the rejected candidates

  • You will then be able to view the candidates who have been rejected for this job via Popp.

  • To view the candidate's rejection reason (e.g. "Rejected on Popp"), click on the candidate to open their opportunity profile.

At this time, you are also able to progress candidates from Popp by selecting candidates and clicking Shortlist in the Analysis dashboard. However, this will not update the interview stage in Lever. This feature will be going live no later than April 2024.

Disabling the Popp AI integration
