The Candidate Experience Surveys dashboard provides aggregate insights into the sentiment of candidates that move through our talent acquisition pipeline. This dashboard allows you to run qualitative assessments of your recruitment procedures so you can ensure that your processes are resulting in the best experience possible for candidates. As you are reading, refer to our LeverTRM Glossary for definitions of the key terms and concepts used in this article. Accessing the Candidate Experience Surveys dashboard
To access the Candidate Experience Surveys dashboard:
- Navigate to Visual Insights via the platform header
- Click the chevron (>) on the left side of the page
- Click Dashboards and select Candidate Experience Surveys from the expanded menu

The Candidate Experience Surveys dashboard is segmented into pages, each containing charts that will give you insight into a different dimension of your survey data. Move through the pages by selecting the tabs running along the top of the dashboard.

Metrics on the Candidate Experience Surveys dashboard
Metrics on the Candidate Experience Surveys dashboard are visualized in various types of charts which are organized into different pages. Below, you will find a description of each page as well as the charts they contain and how the metrics on each chart are calculated. Note that each metric listed is sensitive to the values in the filters at the top of the dashboard. Keep in mind that data associated with confidential job postings is excluded from the charts. You can export the data from any chart by hovering over the top-right corner, clicking the ⠇icon, and selecting Download data.
Filters can be be mixed and matched to hone in on specific data sets on any given dashboard. Once you have selected or input values to the filters, you must click the ⟳ button to apply the filters to the data on the dashboard. It may take a few seconds for the dashboard to refresh with your applied filters. The colors used on all Visual Insights charts are ADA compliant for red, green, and blue color blindness as well as monochromacy. |
Survey Ratings
The Survey Ratings page contains charts that show high-level statistics related to candidate satisfaction and survey completion in order to provide you with an understanding of how candidates feel about your recruitment processes.

This table deconstructs the value on the 'Overall average satisfaction rating' single-value chart by showing the average satisfaction rating for each question on the Candidate Experience Survey, allowing you to zero in on candidate sentiment toward specific aspects of your recruitment processes.
Average ratings for each question are calculated as:

Survey status over time
This chart allows you to gauge the volume of completed and pending surveys over a given period of time, providing context for other metrics on the dashboard.

Completion rate over time
This chart allows you to measure the volume of completed surveys relative to the total number of surveys sent over a given period of time. Use this metric to evaluate whether changes you have made to your Candidate Experience Survey have impacted completion rates.

Question average rating over time
This table further deconstructs the values on the 'Average satisfaction rating by question' table by showing the average satisfaction rating for each question on the Candidate Experience Survey distributed over time. Use this table to identify points in time within the date range where candidate sentiment on specific questions may have shifted in order to further refine your recruitment processes.

Response ratings by question
These charts further deconstruct the values on the 'Average satisfaction rating by question' table by showing the distribution of responses across response options for each question on the Candidate Experience Survey. Use these charts to asses whether questions are yielding polarizing or middling responses.

Response rating pivot
This table further deconstructs the values on the 'Average satisfaction rating by question' table by allowing you to view the average satisfaction rating for each question on the Candidate Experience Survey distributed across the following dimensions: posting, opportunity owner, team, department, posting location*, origin, or source. Use this table to make process optimizations based on trends in candidate sentiment broken down by variables such as the roles they are applying for or where they are located.

Click the colored dots along the bottom of multi-value charts to add or remove individual groups from the visualization. Hold the Alt key (or the Option key on a Mac) when clicking a dot to filter for that group only. |
All Responses
The table on the All Responses page of the dashboard allows you to see details of all surveys sent within the date range, consisting of:
- Opportunity ID
- Posting
- Department
- Team
- Job location*
- Posting owner
- Posting hiring manager
- Origin
- Source
- Question text
- Ratings and paragraph responses
Use the dashboard filters to zero in on details for responses to specific questions or other subsets of surveys.

*Note that the Multi-Location Opportunities dashboard is the only dashboard that supports secondary locations on multi-location postings. On the Talent Leader Summary dashboard and other Visual Insights dashboards, secondary locations cannot be filtered for and will not be returned or displayed.
