Accessing the Tutorials dashboard

To access the Tutorials dashboard:

  • Navigate to Visual Insights via the platform header

Using the Tutorials dashboard

The Tutorials dashboard is populated with stock data (not the data from your own Lever environment).

  • Interacting with dashboards
  • Using filters

Use the tabs at the top of the Tutorials dashboard to move between pages.

Using the 'Interacting with Dashboards' page

This page contains an example of each type of charts you will come across in Visual Insights:

Charts on the Interacting with Dashboards page of the Tutorials dashboard

  • KPI tiles
  • Bar charts
  • Line charts
  • Column charts
  • Tables
  • Pie charts
  • Scatter plots

These charts are responsive to the various ways in which you can work with visualizations, such as drilling down into chart values, filtering via the legend, downloading chart data, and opening the chart in an expanded view. Use these example charts to get familiar with the ways in which you can work with visualizations on your own dashboards. For more information on how to work with charts, refer to the following help articles:

Using the 'Using Filters' page

Use this page to see how charts respond when filters are applied to a dashboard. The first section of the page pertains to the date range filter, specifying how the date range measures relative and absolute time ranges. The second section pertains to the date interval filter, which can be used to group data by day, week, month, quarter, or a year on charts that visualize metrics over time. The third section of the page gives you the opportunity to practice how to apply multi-select and yes/no filters, as well as how to reset filters and hide the filters bar. To learn more about how to use filters, refer to the following dashboards:
