Never forget about an upcoming interview or pending feedback with Lever’s Slack notifications. Easily configure interview alerts and quick feedback surveys to be sent directly to your Slack account within 10 minutes of an interview. For more information on setting up the Slack integration, refer to our help article on enabling and using the Slack integration.
Enabling Slack notifications
Once the Slack integration is enabled and channels have been added/synced, any user in your Lever instance can enable interview alerts via their personal account settings:
- Navigate to Settings > My account
- Select the notification checkboxes under the 'Slack notifications' heading
Slack interview reminders
The user will be notified in Slack 10 minutes before an upcoming interview. The notification in Slack will contain the following information:
- (1) Name of candidate and link to the interviewer's feedback form (which displays the resume)
- (2) Name of feedback form
- (3) Time of interview
- (4) Location of interview
- (5) Contact information for the candidate
- (6) Link to the interviewer's feedback form instructions (which displays the resume)
To view the candidate’s interview instructions, simply click on Resume and Interview Info in the Slack notification. You will be redirected to Lever, where you can view additional candidate information.
Slack quick feedback surveys
If you have yet to begin your feedback 10 minutes after an interview has ended, a Slack notification will be sent via direct message from a Lever Slack Bot. Only one quick feedback survey will be sent per interview. This message will include the following information:
- Name of candidate
- Name of feedback form
- Ability to complete your 1 – 4 score rating
- Link to feedback form in Lever
