The Talent Acquisition Benchmarks dashboard provides you with insight into the efficacy of your hiring initiatives relative to recruitment industry standards. The Talent Acquisition Benchmarks dashboard is useful for identifying areas for improvement and achievements to maintain in your talent acquisition efforts, related to measurements such as time to hire and feedback completion speed. As you are reading, refer to our LeverTRM Glossary for definitions of the key terms and concepts used in this article.


Accessing the Talent Acquisition Benchmarks dashboard

 

EU customers will see benchmark data only for their account, not pooled Talent Acquisition Benchmark customer data.

 

You must opt-in to sharing your recruitment data with Lever in order to access the Talent Acquisition Benchmarks dashboard (instructions below). To learn more about how Lever handles recruitment data, refer to the documentation in our Privacy Center.

Before you can access the Talent Acquisition Benchmarks dashboard, you must have opted-in to sharing your recruitment data with Lever:

  • Navigate to Visual Insights via the platform header

  • Click the chevron (>) on the left side of the page
  • Click Settings and Extras
  • Flip the Benchmarks toggle to the 'On' position (the toggle will turn blue to indicate that it is active).

Note that all recruitment data shared with Lever for the purpose of establishing benchmarks is anonymized and aggregated. For more information on Lever's data handling policy, refer to the documentation in our Privacy Center. Once you have opted-in to data sharing, any user with Admin access or higher will be able to access the Talent Acquisition Benchmarks dashboard. To access the Talent Acquisition Benchmarks dashboard:

  • Click the chevron (>) on the left side of the page
  • Click Dashboards and select Talent Acquisition Benchmarks from the expanded menu

Metrics on the Talent Acquisition Benchmarks dashboard

Metrics on the Talent Acquisition Benchmarks dashboard are visualized in different types of charts. Below, you will find a description of each chart and how its metrics are calculated. Note that the data sets for the charts on this dashboard pull from the full history of LeverTRM environments (i.e. the date range is 'All-time') beginning 1 January 2018. Data associated with confidential job postings is excluded from the charts. You can export the data from any chart by hovering over the top-right corner, clicking the ⠇icon, and selecting Download data. 

 

The colors used on all Visual Insights charts are ADA compliant for red, green, and blue color blindness as well as monochromacy.

Average days to hire

The charts in this section of the dashboard show you the overall speed at which candidates are hired from the point of opportunity creation.

The average number of days opportunities spend in the pipeline before being archived as 'Hired,' calculated as:

  [Sum of days spent in pipeline by opportunities archived as 'Hired']  
  [Total # of opportunities archived as 'Hired']  
Median days to hire The median number of the set of total days each hired opportunity spent in the pipeline before being archived as 'Hired.'

Average days from posting to first hire

The charts in this section of the dashboard show give you insight into how quickly candidates are hired for a role from the point of posting publication.

The average number of days between a posting being published and a candidate being hired for that role, calculated as:

  [Sum of days between the publication of each posting and the first archiving of an opportunity as 'Hired' in association with those postings]  
  [Total # of published postings]  
Median days from posting to first hire The median number of the set of total days between each posting being published and the first archiving of an opportunity as 'Hired' in association with those postings.

The average number of days between a posting being published and a the final candidate being hired for that role, calculated as:

  [Sum of days between the publication of each posting and the last archiving of an opportunity as 'Hired' in association with those postings before they closed]

The average number of hours interviewers took to complete feedback, calculated as:

  [Sum of hours between interview end and feedback completion for all interviews]  
  [Total # of past interview events]  

 

Feedback that has yet to be submitted for performed interviews is excluded from this calculation.

Median hours to complete feedback The median number of the set of total hours between the end of each interview and the completion of feedback for those interviews.
