The CoderPad Interview platform integrates with the Lever to automatically create interview sessions for candidates. Results are quickly accessible by clicking the CoderPad link added to the candidate opportunity in Lever. For more information refer to the CoderPad website

Setting up the CoderPad integration

You must have a paid organization plan with admin rights in CoderPad (Team or higher) to install this integration. If you’re on a CoderPad Personal plan, please consider upgrading to access this feature.

(1) Enable the CoderPad integration

(2) Click Generate New Key and copy the API key

(3) Click Done

In CoderPad

2. Paste the Lever API key into Step 1: Provide Lever credentials. Click Update to save.

3. In Step 2: Select Lever Stages with Pad Creation, select the stages that should generate a pad link when the candidate moves into that stage. Click Update to move to the next step.

Using the CoderPad integration

Apply the "coderpad" tag to jobs or opportunities in Lever to automatically create pads.

When a tagged candidate reaches the first designated Lever trigger stage, CoderPad Interview creates a pad and updates the Lever candidate opportunity with the interview link (see example below).

Copy this link and send it to the candidate (and interviewer).

View results in Lever

When the Interview session ends, you may wish to view the results in Lever. The same CoderPad Interview link added to the opportunity also serves as a record of the interview. Click that link to play back the history of the interview session.

You can also copy code from the interview into a candidate note or feedback.

Disabling the CoderPad integration

  1. In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
  2. Under the Partner Integrations tab, locate the CoderPad app
  3. Click Revoke access to disable the integration
