How do I enable and use the Yobs integration?

The Yobs integration with Lever ATS will save you from hours spent cleaning up candidate notes and going back to them to fill out interview feedback forms in Lever. 

With this integration, you can effortlessly schedule and launch Yobs interviews from Lever.

During the interview, Yobs' Chrome Extension lets you take notes during candidate calls that sync directly with Lever interview feedback forms.

As the conversation unfolds, Yobs automatically records and transcribes what is said to make sure nothing said gets lost. 

Hiring managers can finally use real evidence to give real-time coaching to interviewers and ensure they ask the right questions, engage candidates effectively, check each other’s interview biases and more.

Setup the integration:

Note: Access role must be Super Admin in order to set up the integration.

Go to the "Integrations" tab in Yobs and click "Connect" under the Lever logo

First, if you haven't already, download the Yobs Chrome Extension

This will make it easy to record and transcribe Zoom meetings on the fly in one click. The details of any Google Calendar event with an existing Zoom link will stay intact. If there is no Zoom link, Yobs creates one on your behalf (you will still be host!) 

The Chrome Extension also provides additional time-saving benefits for Lever users.

Now, in order to enable the Lever/ Yobs integration, your Lever Admin will need to Login to Yobs > go to the Integrations Tab > click Connect Lever.

Grant Yobs permission to read/write Lever account data in one-click with oAuth

The Admin will then complete the oAuth to authorize Yobs with permission to read/write the necessary Lever account data for the integration features to be activated. See screenshot below:

You will see a success message at the top of the screen as follows to indicate the integration was successful:

Now that Lever <> Yobs are connected, let's go into the features offered by the integration! 

How to use the integration:

Yobs makes it easy to complete an interview feedback form in Lever while reviewing a candidate's interview recording and transcript highlights. Recruiting teams can now use real evidence to complete their interview feedback forms faster and with more accuracy (e.g. copy-paste actual pieces of an interview transcript).

 

Thanks to Yobs' Chrome Extension, as soon as a Zoom interview meeting finishes, interviewers can instantly open the candidate's interview feedback form in Lever in a new tab and paste the notes they took during the meeting. It only takes two clicks (see Lever button circled in red below and "copy" notes button.) 

After 1-2 hours, once the interview recording and transcript are made available to the interviewer, they can again easily open the candidate's interview feedback form in Lever in a new tab in one click from the Yobs meeting page with the Lever (see Lever button circled in red below).

When a user is in Lever, they will see a link to the Yobs meeting page to easily go back into Yobs and re-watch the interview recording, transcript, interviewer highlights and more. This makes it easy to toggle back and forth between the two systems without headaches.

And voila! You're ready to elevate your hiring game with the Lever <> Yobs integration.

How to disable the integration:

1. Navigate to your Integrations & API Settings Page in Lever.

2. Under the Authorized Apps tab, locate the Yobs app.

3. Click Revoke Access to disable the integration.
