Enabling and using the Gem integration

Use Gem's full pipeline visibility for optimizing the recruiter and sourcer workflow to dynamically create opportunities in Lever. Add Gem candidates to the corresponding posting in Lever. Open the Lever opportunity link to begin tracking the applicant. 

What you can do with the Gem integration

  • Upload a sourced candidate from Gem directly into Lever & connect it to a Lever job posting
  • Change a candidate’s stage in Lever without leaving Gem
  • Sync email conversations from Gem into Lever notes/candidate profile, providing context on the candidate within Lever

Setting up the integration

 

Access role must be Super Admin in Lever to set up the integration.

1. In the Gem platform

2. From your right-hand menu in the Gem app or extension, click the button "Log in to Lever" to grant Gem access to your Lever accountLinkedin profile with Lever bookmark side menu

3. In the pop-up window, sign in to your Lever account

Using the integration

Select a Lever posting to create an opportunity from the right side menu in Gem under the Lever title.

Click 'View Candidate' to open the Opportunity page in Lever. Changes to the Opportunity stage will sync back to Gem.

Syncing email conversations from Gem into Lever notes/candidate profile, providing context on the candidate within Lever

  1. Contact your Gem CSM to enable Gem to Lever email sync!
  2. Once enabled, you will see emails synced as notes to candidates uploaded to Lever from Gem:

Disabling the integration

1. In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API

2. Under the Authorized Apps tab locate the Gem app

3. Click Revoke Access to disable the integration
