Please note: In the coming months, we will be migrating all existing customers to our updated user interface and data model. Because of this, you may be viewing a help article that is not applicable to the version of Lever you are using! If your team began using Lever before July 15th, 2019, if you manage candidate profiles in Lever, or if the screenshots below do not match what you see in your account, please visit this article for information that is most applicable to you.

We know from our customers that many users organize their sources into higher-level categories. We call these broader categories origins. Origins allow you to group your sources together and build reports on these sources in bulk.

Example: for the origin of “Sourced”, you’ll see all of the candidates who you brought into your pipeline from places like GitHub, AngelList, Dribbble, etc. Then, instead of adding each of these individual sources to the reports filter, you can simply filter by origin = Sourced.

Each opportunity has one (and only one!) point of origin: Applied, Sourced, Referred, University, Internal, or Agency.

You can change opportunity origins individually or in bulk.
