The Senseloaf integration with Lever intelligently automates the top of the recruiting funnel, enabling hiring teams to efficiently and equitably connect, screen, qualify, and engage with candidates. This document provides insights into the possibilities you can achieve within the Lever using Senseloaf.AI, including automating candidate outreach, improving resume screening accuracy, enhancing interview scheduling efficiency, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Setting up the Senseloaf integration

You must be a team or organization with an active organization and admin rights in Senseloaf to install this integration. |
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > API Credentials
- Click Generate New Key

- Read endpoints:
- Enable the Allow access to confidential data setting to allow access to confidential data in Lever.
- In the Key name field, enter "Senseloaf"
- Upload the“Senseloaf icon (Optional)
- Click Generate Key
- Click Copy Key and save the API key to a secure place
- Share the generated key with the Senseloaf team
- Click Done to save API key to Lever

Setup the Webhook
- Senseloaf will provide you with the integration Webhook URL
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks
- Scroll down to the Application Created webhook section
- Click + Add webhook to create a new webhook in Lever
- Paste the Senseloaf Webhook URL into the URL field
- Enable the Application Created webhook if it is not already enabled.

Configuring the Senseloaf integration
To integrate Senseloaf efficiently with your Lever account, your team will configure the settings based on the following features:

Configure the Lever for Resume Screening Agent
SenseLoaf's state-of-the-art Explainable Match algorithm evaluates the semantic similarity between skills, experience descriptions, and job titles in both job listings and resumes.
Create a custom feedback form in Lever for Senseloaf AI Matching
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Feedback
- Click NEW FORM
- Type "AI Screening'"in the title field
- Rename the Rating field to "Overall Rating"
- Type “Skills Relevance” in the Question field
- Change the type to “SCORE”
- Click + Add Another Question
- Type “Experience Relevance” in the Question field
- Change the type to “SCORE”
- Click + Add Another Question
- Type “Job Role Relevance” in the Question field
- Change the type to “SCORE”
- Click SAVE CHANGES

Create custom stages in Lever for Moving Top Matching Candidates (Optional)
This step is optional and only required when recruiting teams want the AI agents to forward top-matching candidates to a separate pipeline stage.
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Pipeline and archive reasons
- Click CUSTOMIZE PIPELINE STAGES
- To create the Top Match stage, click ADD STAGE
- Name the stage “Top Match”
- Click “ADD STAGE”
- Click and drag this stage to the APPLICANT Category of your pipeline

Configure Lever for the Senseloaf Chat Prescreening Agent
Senseloaf AI Agents are intelligent chat assistants that manage multiple stages of the recruitment process, including job applications, pre-screening, interview scheduling, preparation, and onboarding. These AI agents are fully customizable and integrate smoothly with your Lever.
Create a custom stage for the Prescreening Agent to move Engaged candidates
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Pipeline and archive reasons
- Click CUSTOMIZE PIPELINE STAGES

To move candidates who passed prescreening, create the Sense Engaged stage by completing the following:
- Click ADD STAGE
- Name the stage “Sense Engaged”
- Click ADD STAGE
- Click and drag this stage to the Applicant Category of your pipeline
- To move candidates who failed prescreening, create the Knockout stage in Lever:
- Click ADD STAGE
- Name the stage “Knockout”
- Click ADD STAGE
- Click and drag this stage to the Applicant Category of your pipeline
Create custom feedback form for Sense AI Agent
- In Lever, Navigate to Settings > Feedback
- Open the AI Screening feedback form created in the previous step
- Click + ADD ANOTHER QUESTION
- Type “Chat Prescreening” in the Question field
- Change the type to “SCORE”
- Click SAVE CHANGES
Configure Lever for Senseloaf Talent Pool Recommendation
SenseLoaf uses AI to efficiently source candidates from existing talent databases. It analyzes past applicants, current employees, and other sources to find matches for current job openings. It integrates smoothly with the Lever to maintain workflow efficiency while re-engaging past candidates and utilizing internal talent.
Create a custom stage for Sense Talent Recommendation
- In Lever, navigate to Settings > Pipeline and archive reasons
- Click CUSTOMIZE PIPELINE STAGES

To create the “AI Sourced” stage in Lever:
- Click ADD STAGE
- Name the stage "AI Sourced"
- Click ADD STAGE
- Click and drag this stage to the APPLICANT Category of your pipeline
Using the Senseloaf integration
Senseloaf AI Matching
SenseLoaf's state-of-the-art Explainable Match algorithm evaluates the semantic similarity between skills, experience descriptions, and job titles in both job listings and resumes. The algorithm also considers the recency of experience and the duration of specific roles. The following actions will occur in the Senseloaf AI Matching:
- Automatic Tag Update
- Automatic Feedback Update
- Automatic Stage Movement
- Matching Report Card link Update
Automatic Tag update
The integration will automatically add a Sense AI score tag to the Lever opportunity to new applicants in Lever. Please see additional score tag details below.

The integration will continuously update AI activities and matching details in the applicant notes within the Lever, ensuring recruiters are informed of the current status of the recruitment process.
Automatic Feedback update
Senseloaf AI Matching automatically updates the feedback summary on the candidate opportunity by calculating key metrics such as skill relevance, experience relevance, job role relevance, chat prescreening score and the overall score (which is the average of all scores).
Automatic Stage Movement
Senseloaf moves the candidate to the "TOP MATCH" stage if their matching score is above 80%. This threshold is fully customizable according to your needs.
Once the matching is completed, Senseloaf will automatically send the prescreening AI agent link to candidates via email or SMS.
Matching Report Card link Update
Every time a match occurs, Senseloaf adds a Matching Report Card URL to the candidate opportunity profile and updates the notes with all AI activities. No action is required from the user to enable this feature.
The Senseloaf Matching Report Card contains all essential candidate information, insights, and communication logs in a single platform. The Senseloaf landing page removes data silos, giving recruiters a cohesive view of the talent pipeline and substantially improving decision-making and process efficiency.
AI Prescreening Chat Agent
The Senseloaf AI Agent, a core feature of SenseLoaf's recruitment automation platform, enhances the job application process by leveraging advanced Large Language Models (LLM). The AI agent interacts with candidates, conducting prescreening by asking questions either auto-generated from the job description or provided by recruiters.
With seamless integration into career websites and social media platforms, the Sense AI Agent offers real-time responses to candidate inquiries, improving their experience and reducing the recruiters' administrative tasks.

Dynamic Grading
After the applicant screening, Prescreening Agent conducts a pre-screening with the candidate. Upon completion, the dynamic grading algorithm automatically updates the opportunity tag in the Lever dashboard. All pre-screening conversations will be displayed in the Matching Report Card.
Automatic Feedback Enhancement
Senseloaf Screening agent automatically updates the feedback summary by calculating key metrics such as skill relevance, experience relevance, job role relevance, chat prescreening score, assessment score, and the overall score (which is the average of all scores)
Automated Stage Transitions
If an applicant passes the prescreening questionnaire, agent automatically moves them to the "SENSE ENGAGED" stage and updates the opportunity tag in the Lever dashboard. If they do not pass, they are moved to the "KNOCKOUT" stage, and the opportunity tag is similarly updated in the Lever dashboard.
Dynamic Note Update
Senseloaf updates the the Lever candidate opportunity notes with all AI activities. No action is required from the user to enable this feature.
Senseloaf’s Talent Recommendation Agent
SenseLoaf AI optimizes recruitment by swiftly matching job descriptions with candidates from an existing database, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. This method revitalizes the talent pool by reintroducing candidates to new roles, boosting conversion rates. As the user creates a job, the webhook event is triggered automatically by the SenseLoaf AI to recommend the top 100 talents from the existing database after filtering talent data appropriately based on the company's global settings.
The Senseloaf Talent Recommendation Agent automatically creates new opportunities in the AI Sourced stage of your Applicant pipeline.
Disabling the Senseloaf integration
- In Lever navigate to Settings > Integrations and API
- Under the API Credentials tab, locate the Senseloaf API credentials
- Click the trash can icon to disable the integration
