How do I push my published job postings to Linkedin?

Post all your jobs automatically to LinkedIn as Limited Listings with just one click. Super admins can enable this feature by doing the following:

Go to your Lever’s integrations settings page and navigate to Job Boards:

By clicking on the gray toggle next to LinkedIn, it will turn green. This means that your account settings with LinkedIn is turned on and all your open job postings will be pushed to LinkedIn within 24 hours.

If you're not ready to turn it on just yet, you can click on "Learn more" to read more info about automatically pushing jobs to Linkedin and tracking candidates who come from Linkedin. To turn on the integration, either click on the toggle to make it green, or click on the blue "Turn on integration" button.

What if I want to publish only some of my job postings to LinkedIn?

ALL published postings can be turned on and pushed to LinkedIn. You can then manually go in and turn off selective published postings within individual job postings if you don't want to have those individual postings published to LinkedIn. Those individual postings will be removed from the XML feed within 24 hrs.

Likewise you can select specific job postings to be pushed to LinkedIn. Just go directly to the job postings page in Lever and select the job posting you want to publish to LinkedIn. Under the Settings tab of the job posting, click on the down arrow next to the LinkedIn job board to expand LinkedIn settings and click "Turn on job board for this posting":

What if I already posted jobs to Linkedin?

If you turn on the integration to push all your jobs to Linkedin but you already posted some jobs through Linkedin's Limited or Premium flow, the jobs will be de-duped by Title, location, company name and Job posting ID.
Job postings coming from the XML feed will be given lower priority than Premium (Paid) jobs if de-duped to a Premium posting, and thus the Premium posting will remain even though the Limited (free) job was de-duped.
Just make sure that your premium postings on Linkedin are directing applicants to apply through Lever's source tracking link. You can generate this link by doing the following:

1. Go to your job postings page

2. Find the posting for which you need to create a custom tracking URL.

3. On the settings tab, click "+ Add a job board."

4. Type "Linkedin" from the dropdown menu.

5. Copy the URL in #3:

Go to "Manage jobs" on your Linkedin Recruiter account and go to your premium posting. Under "How would you like people to apply", paste the Lever tracking URL where it says "Direct applicants to an external site to apply."

What if I want to convert the job posting into a paid posting on Linkedin?

Please note that the job postings will go through as Limited postings so they won’t actually take up any of your paid slots. So if you want to use Paid LinkedIn, you will still need to manually create Premium postings here:

It's been more than 24 hours, so why don't I see my job posting on Linkedin?

It's important to note that your job posting will appear through search on Linkedin; it will NOT appear on your company page.

Linkedin will also not publish job postings in the following circumstances:

  • The job is already posted.
  • The job has less than 100 words.
  • The job has no location. This includes jobs that have "Remote" or "Anywhere" as a location. To double-check that your location is recognized by Linkedin, check the location of your job posting and go to Linkedin to see how it's officially named.

If you still can't find your job posting on Linkedin through a search, it's already been more than 24 hours, and you checked all the criteria above, please contact us.

What if I have an error in my job posting?

If you need to update or correct your job posting, make your changes on the job posting in Lever and your updates will be reflected in LinkedIn within 24 hours.

How do I turn off the LinkedIn integration?

To turn off the LinkedIn integration, go to LinkedIn under Job Boards on Lever’s integrations settings page. Click the green toggle next to LinkedIn so that it turns gray. You will see an alert confirming if you want to disable the integration. Just click on "Yes, Disable "to turn off the integration. If you turned on the LinkedIn integration only for a specific job posting, you must go to the job posting's settings to turn off the integration.
