Lever Talent Intelligence will be decommissioned in December 2024. This article is designed to help those who are most familiar with the Lever Talent Intelligence (LTI) reporting interface transition to the in-app Visual Insights view. Lever's updated Visual Insights interface is now more fully featured than Lever Talent Intelligence making it faster and easier to discover actionable measurements in your recruitment data. For a full breakdown of these advantages and additions, refer to our Visual Insights help article collection


User Access in Visual Insights

User access to Visual Insights is far greater than the LTI interface, as outlined in our User Access help article. This means your entire hiring team can interact with the data that's relevant to them. In Visual Insights:

  • Super Admins can view all dashboards
  • Admins can view all dashboards except for Offers, Diversity, and EEO
  • Team Members can only view the Recruiter Operations and Hiring Manager dashboards
  • Limited Team Members can only view the Hiring Manager dashboard

 

If you are interested in building custom charts and dashboards through Data Explorer, then you will need Super Admin access or the 'access Visual Insights report builder (Data Explorer)' permission enabled. Access to Data Explorer requires the LeverTRM for Enterprise package and/or Advanced Analytics add-on. 

Location Comparison

Below is a breakdown of where key information from the LTI reporting interface can be found in the new Visual Insights interface. Several key metrics such as total hires, time in stage, time to hire, or time to fill may appear on more than one Visual Insights dashboard.

Dashboard Filters Filters are arranged horizontally along the top of each dashboard in Visual Insights. On certain dashboards, 'grouped by' filters can also be applied to pivot data and visualize charts in a more specific way such as by department, by team, and so on. 
Bookmarks Bookmarks are listed in the side panel of each dashboard.
Exports Full, customizable data exports can be run from the Exports section. In addition, data from charts can be directly downloaded from each dashboard. To learn more about exporting data, refer to our help article on data exports
Custom Charts Data Explorer allows you to build custom charts from various data sets, that you can then turn into custom dashboards and views. To learn more about building custom charts, refer to our help article on building custom charts

 

Metric Comparison

Below you will find a list of metrics commonly searched for in the LTI reporting interface and where you can find that same metric in the updated Visual Insights interface.

How many requisitions did we close in the time period and how quickly are we closing them?

 

You can customize how time to fill and time to hire are calculated in your Lever environment. To learn more on configuring requisition time to fill settings, refer to our help article on the Time to Fill Wizard

  • Navigate to the Requisitions dashboard
  • Refer to the 'requisitions by status' chart for the total number of closed requisitions
  • Refer to the 'average time to fill over time' chart for how quickly requisitions are being closed
  • To view a trend line for time to fill: 
    • Navigate to the 'Advanced' page on the Requisitions dashboard
    • Refer to the 'time to fill dynamic chart'

 

Do we have a healthy balance of leads to applicants?

  • Filter by department, team, or opportunity owner to see where this is occurring

 

How long is it taking to schedule candidates per interview?

    • Filter by 'EEO question'
